How to prepare
- Register early: Check visitor registration and entry conditions on the official site.
- Two venues: With the fair spread over two expo centres, plan transport and timing in advance.
- Make a target list: Furniture is a broad sector; pick halls by interest, such as residential, office, hospitality (HORECA) or outdoor.
- Bring your numbers: Floor dimensions, expected quantities and budget make conversations faster.
- Ask for samples: Request material, paint and fabric samples and technical catalogues.
What to look for in chairs and seating
Fairs are a good way to see colour, form and material directions side by side. A practical checklist for buyers sourcing restaurant, cafe or hotel furniture:
- Colour and texture: Watch whether warm tones, textured fabrics and softer forms stand out. We summarised the 2026 direction in our 2026 chair design trends article.
- Build quality: Look closely at welds, paint finish and floor glides.
- Commercial suitability: Ask whether the product is made for heavy use and what the warranty covers.
- Custom production: Find out if colour, size and upholstery can be made to order.
- Lead time and shipping: For bulk orders, production and packing times matter as much as price.
